Our Story

After 100 years it was time to “birth” another “child”.  In September of 2010, Christ Church Assembly of God celebrated its 100-year anniversary.  A couple of months following that celebration, Pastor Darius Johnston, the senior pastor of Christ Church A/G in Fort Worth, met with Jack and Miranda Hunt about leading a church planting effort to East Parker County.  After a time of prayer, Jack and Miranda accepted this new call and challenge on their life and ministry.  So after serving as student ministry pastors for 11 years, the Hunts began the prayers and plans necessary to transition into the Lead Pastor role for CCWest.
